Claire de Carteret, Regional Director at Gallup Asia-Pacific, will lead this session focused on analytics and advice from Gallup’s global data sets (including employee engagement and well-being in over 160 countries) and advising Fortune 1000 companies. Claire will reveal how organisations can respond to the changing expectations of the workplace and lead diverse and inclusive organisations.
Drawing on research into women in the workplace and millennial studies of over 1.4 million respondents, the discussion will outline strategies for HR and business leaders to consider and adopt to continue to build inclusive and empowering high performance cultures.

Ros Tregurtha is a highly experienced human resources professional and industrial relations expert from Fairfax Media. As HR Director for the company’s Australian Publishing Media division she is involved in supporting key metropolitan mastheads and publishing operations including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review.
Within her role she performs a key role in the transformational change program at Fairfax Media supporting a three-year restructuring and organisation improvement program, Fairfax of the Future. Ros's pragmatic and commercial approach to human resources has been developed by working in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing media company. Ros has a strong ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and has highly developed communication skills.

Speaker: Rafic Bechara
Position: Head of HR - ANZ
Company: Shire Pharmaceuticals
Rafic Bechara is an experienced HR Professional with over 14 years experience working within generalist HR in large and complex businesses. He is highly qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce in Employee Relations, a Bachelor of Commerce in HR Management and Industrial Relations, an Executive Graduate Certificate of Business Administration and a Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
Rafic has led and supported major projects, including planning and leading a 3-year project of the Sales Operating Model re-structure for Sensis, resulting in better alignment of the National Salesforce and leadership. He has also been involved in supporting various re-structures and has extensive experience in client groups made up of sales staff.
In his current role as HR Business Partner ANZ he has been responsible for driving the people strategy through many aspects of significant change including mergers and acquisitions, relocation, moving to activity based working and more.
