Position: Head of Talent & Learning, Australia & NZ
Belinda joined Danone in March 2016 and leads the Australia and New Zealand shared services function of Talent and Learning for Danone, a world leading food company with 100,000 employees worldwide.
The company has a dual commitment of business and social progress and a mission to develop all Danoners, from the factory floor to the C-suite.
In 2016 the organization deployed a new Talent model with a focus on development and succession planning to address leadership gaps, improve employee engagement and enhance career development opportunities.
Belinda will discuss deployment, learnings and results of this model which focuses on Growth Agility encompassing Emotional and Intellectual Agility, Grit and a Growth Mindset and the leadership behaviors that underpin the culture of Danone.
She will also speak about Danone’s approach to learning and bringing Danone Campus to Australia for the first time. Danone Campus is a week-long program encompassing functional, leadership and managerial training, Market Places, exercise and plenary and Danone culture with facilitators from across the globe.
Reporting to the HR Director Araceli Garcia Perez, she previously worked at IBM for many years holding lead roles in Recruitment, HR Management, Learning and Diversity.

She has extensive remuneration, organisational development and generalist HR experience in senior leadership roles, gained primarily from within the financial services industry and global multinational organisations. She is recognised for her effective delivery of commercial solutions and focus on alignment of HR to the strategic business objectives.
Dianne joined Cochlear just over 12 months ago, where she is leading the globalisation of their talent management practices across 30+ countries. As the business continues to grow rapidly, this has presented some exciting, yet very challenging opportunities.

Position: Senior HR Manager - ANZ
Fabienne Connet holds a Master of Psychology from the University of Ghent, Belgium and is CAHRI certified. She started her career in London in recruitment, after which she spent just under 10 years with GE. She held various roles with GE in the UK and in Australia, ranging from being a UK & Ireland, European and Australia & New Zealand HRM to managing Finance Leadership Development across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In early 2016, Fabienne joined Herbert Smith Freehills, broadening her experience from a US multi-national conglomerate to a British/Australian law firm. In 2017, she joined Biogen as the Head of HR for the Australia & New Zealand Affiliate.

Speaker: Che Lewer
Position: Head of HR
Company: Heinemann Australia
Che completed her Masters of International Business and Human Resources Management at the University of Queensland, Australia. She commenced her career in Human Resources as a HR Coordinator at Park Hyatt Sydney. Thereafter, Che joined the Accor family for 5 years, where she assumed various roles from HR Officer to multi-hotel HR Manager in 2013. At Accor, Che also had the privilege of being appointed as Indigenous Champion NSW/ACT for 3 years, supporting Accor’s diversity strategy within the business.
In 2013, Che left the Hospitality Industry to broaden her HR Business partnering and Commercial expertise and assumed a role at IKEA as HR Manager for 3 years. In 2016, Che took on the role of Head of HR at Heinemann Australia, leading and developing a team of 9 HR professionals as well as overseeing an operation of 550 team members.
