Jas joined ReturnToWorkSA in 2010. She has a master’s degree in the management of organisational change and 25 years’ experience in senior human resources roles in the insurance, defense, research & development and tertiary education sectors. In her current role, Jas leads the business group responsible for human resources, WHS & wellbeing, learning & development, organisational design, communication services and business process improvement.

Adelaide Event #3: Managing the Age of Change: The New Employee Relationship Economy
Speaker: Alison Hernandez

Alison is a passionate, insightful thought leader on all aspects of transition and inclusion, with deep expertise in career transition, ageing workforce and gender equality. Alison is highly sought after as a conference chair, presenter and facilitator and known for her energy, humour and incisiveness.
Having begun her career in hospitality and quality management, Alison started working in the Human Resources sector in the mid-nineties, finding a natural place for her skills and strengths in the career transition (outplacement) industry. A highlight of this time was developing and leading the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games career transition program for 2500 people.
In 2004, Alison co-founded Sageco (now RiseSmart), then a niche consultancy in ageing workforce and mature-age transition. She directed a number of industry leading ageing workforce projects including the $2 M Federal Government Corporate Champions program. Having led Sageco for 13 years, achieving year-on-year growth and expanding the Sageco services to include career and executive transition, Alison was instrumental in Sageco being acquired by Randstad Australia in early 2017. She is now the Director for RiseSmart, wholly owned by Randstad, reporting to the APAC CEO, Frank Ribuot.
In 2017, Alison was invited by the AARP to participate as a subject matter expert in a global ageing workforce think tank at the OECD Forum ‘Bridging the Divide’ held in Paris. The same year Alison was a keynote speaker at The Ageing Well Revolution Conference spear-headed by the Economic Development Board of South Australia.
Alison has a teenage daughter and lives in Northern NSW near Lennox Head, role modelling flexible work as a senior leader, commuting to and from RiseSmart offices across Australia, NZ and Singapore.

The three global mega-trends driving the Employee Relationship Economy are demographic change, digitisation and the rise of the contingent workforce. The three interact – a cause and effect that varies in intensity across industry. Adelaide Event #2: Leadership Required for Change (The Holden Story)
Speaker: Jamie Getgood

Jamie is an award winning Senior HR Leader with a proven track record of achievement across Generalist and Specialist HR roles in a number of large multinational organizations.
Before completing his HR Degree, Jamie started his career as a mechanical tradesman, which built a great foundation to his HR profession.
With GM Holden closing its manufacturing operations in Australia in 2017, he took on the leadership in the closure of the industry with a strong focus around change management and employee engagement principles. The key foundation of this support has been around the development of a best practice Transition Centre to support all employees in the auto industry receiving the support, advice and training to help them transition into new work.
As a result of the work in this area, Jamie was named as the Australian Leader/Manager of the year at the Australian Excellence Awards in 2017 and was a finalist in the AHRI HR Director of the year awards 2017.
Jamie has recently commenced his own HR specialist business called Getgood Consulting.

These include Fonterra Co-Operative, Telecom New Zealand, Bank of New Zealand, George Weston Foods and in the last few years has also ventured into Government, working at WaterNSW. Liz experience is centered on developing and embedding people strategies, aligned to delivering business goals and overall performance. She has extensive experience working with executive and senior leadership teams to create, drive and measure high performance teams & culture, capability and succession/talent strategies.
